zzzThe Autoimmune Paleo Cookbook
This cookbook presents an allergen-free approach to managing chronic illness.
"Diet and lifestyle modifications can be extraordinarily powerful strategies to regulate the immune system, reverse chronic disease, heal the body, and promote overall health," writes Sally Ballantyne in the foreword. "I have a very thorough understanding of the nitty gritty details of how compounds in our foods, the nutrient density of our diets, our hormones, and the 70 trillion probiotic bacteria that life in our guts all interact with our immune system. And I have personal experience with using diet and lifestyle to successfully manage and reverse immune and autoimmune disorders."
The Autoimmune Paleo Cookbook – in addition to providing tasty recipes – helps you get organized with its resources, guides, tips and tricks, meal plans and shopping lists. This takes the guesswork out of what to eat and helps you plan for the week ahead, a strategy that can be essential for success.

About the Author
Mickey Trescott lives in Seattle, Washington, with her crafty husband and a rather pudgy Russian Blue cat. She practices nutritional therapy and cooks privately for local families in addition to blogging and obsessively knitting socks in her spare time.
After recovering from her own struggle with both Celiac and Hashimoto's disease, adrenal fatigue, and multiple vitamin deficiencies, Mickey started to blog about her experiences at autoimmune-paleo.com. Her hope is to give others on a similar path a resource to find information – and to help them realize that they are not alone in their struggles. She also aims to provide a supportive environment for those seeking better health in the face of autoimmunity.
